Sermon Series: The Seven Words

Theme: The New Testament Gospels record seven different conversations or topics addressed by Jesus while he hung upon the cross dying. In preparation for our celebration of Resurrection Day we will take a look at each of these seven sayings, these dying words of our Savior and seek to find meaning and direction for our lives as his disciples.
Part 5: “Frailty” – Jesus’ showed his human frailty when from the cross he said “I am thristy.” In his frailty Jesus identified with us. His suffering strengthens our faith because he over came suffering and death through the resurrection.
